In 2026, the GT OSPO is starting a new open source meeting series focused on bringing together practitioners of open source tools, software, and data. This event is open to all faculty, staff, and students.

  • Are you writing and publishing code for research projects? Are you contributing to open source codebases?
  • Are you maintaining a lab code base and want to make it easier to be adopted for future students in the lab?
  • Are you using open source tools or data in your research workflow?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions or if you are interested in learning more about open source topics, please join us!
